ASCE Award for Miner Avenue Complete Streets!

We are proud to announce that our project with the City of Stockton, Miner Avenue Complete Streets, won the American Society of Civil Engineers Sacramento Region (ASCE)’s 2022 Road and Highway Project of the Year! What is LEED Certification?   For 30 years, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Certification rating system has been the gold standard across the building industry. This system was born out of "USGBC’s desire and mission to transform how buildings and communities are designed, built, and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life." Miner Avenue Complete Streets – Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

On March 16, 2022, we celebrated the completion of the Miner Avenue Complete Streets with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the City of Stockton. The highlight of the Miner Avenue Complete Streets project is the newly installed roundabout at the intersection of San Joaquin Street and Miner Avenue. In the middle of the roundabout stands a historic fountain spire that was previously removed to make way for the new State of California courthouse. Miner Avenue Complete Streets

This project was a 10-block rehabilitation of Miner Avenue that spanned from Center Street to the UPRR underpass. ATP grant-funded, Phase I consisted of the first four blocks of bike and walkway improvements, plus the GMAQ-funded roundabout at the San Joaquin intersection. Miner Avenue Complete Streets Progress

Earlier this year, we shared some progress photos from the Miner Avenue Complete Streets Project. This project is a 10-block rehabilitation that spans from Center Street to the Union Pacific underpass. On Friday, November 5th, the City of Stockton closed Miner Avenue to utilize the weekend for some construction work to be done. The roundabout pictured will assist with traffic flow and add a beautiful landscape feature to Downtown Stockton. Keep an eye out for more progress photos!

North Fire Lane Project Update!

Project Progress Photo! Siegfried is providing civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture for the safety and ADA improvements of the North Fire Lane at Evergreen Valley College. These improvements include ADA accessibility upgrades and the addition of landscaping features including a brand-new water feature at the end of the pedestrian path. We are currently in the construction phase of this project but, keep an eye out for more updates on its progress!

Artificial Turf Replacement for the Hornet’s Stadium is Complete!

Earlier this month, we shared some photos of the demolition of Sacramento State University's Hornet Stadium Artificial Turf Replacement project. We are pleased to announce that the turf has been replaced and is ready for those football cleats! The team at Siegfried worked closely with Sac State and the Athletic Department to find the perfect field for the school. We provided civil engineering and surveying services for the 75,000 SF artificial turf replacement. Take a look at this beautiful transformation!
