Thanksgiving is days away, stores are decorated, trees are set up, and get-togethers are taking over our calendars—it’s safe to say the holiday spirit is in full swing! Amongst the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s critical to remember to support others in the community. That’s why our team at Siegfried has renewed our commitment to being a public drop-off site for Toys for Tots!
Toys for Tots, founded in 1947 and certified as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1991, raises funds, donates, and purchases toys for kids across the county. Their annual holiday campaign, according to the official Toys for Tots website, takes place in over 800 local communities!
Supporting our local community is one of our core values here at Siegfried. Since 1955, being a local business is more than just a geographical description; it is an understanding of the forces that drive our community. Our understanding allows us to provide the best value for our community through our multi-disciplinary services and encourage our staff to donate resources by providing opportunities to support our local organizations and campaigns, such as Toys for Tots.
We want to extend that same opportunity to you! Stop by our Stockton or Sacramento offices with a new, unwrapped toy to support this year’s local, Toys for Tots campaign! We will be accepting donations from now until December 8th. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8-5pm. However, our offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the holiday.
