Congratulations!
We’re excited to celebrate a major milestone for our team—Jakob Sheehan has officially earned his Professional Engineer (PE) License! Although Jakob has only recently joined Siegfried, his journey to becoming a licensed engineer has been years of dedication, hard work, and a commitment to expanding his knowledge.
Jakob graduated from Washington State University, earning his BS in Civil Engineering in 2020 and his MS in Civil Engineering in 2021. He began the process of earning his PE License in November 2022, and after two years of studying and taking exams, Jakob reached his goal and is now officially a licensed Professional Engineer.
For Jakob, this accomplishment represents a long-term goal he’s had since the start of his career. “The hours of studying after work were tough at times, but the satisfaction of passing each exam made it all worthwhile. Now that I have my PE, I feel more confident in my work, and I’m excited to continue developing my skills as an engineer here at Siegfried,” he shared.
Since joining Siegfried as a Design Engineer, Jakob has already made significant contributions to some of our key projects, including the I Street Bridge Operator House in Sacramento and the Oak Park Aquatic Center in Stockton. We’re excited to see how his new credentials will enhance his ability to provide innovative solutions and valuable insights to the team.
We’re all incredibly proud of Jakob for reaching this important milestone in his career, and we can’t wait to see all the great things he’ll continue to accomplish. Please join us in congratulating Jakob on this fantastic achievement!
