Siegfried is very excited to announce that one of our lead civil engineers, Adam Merrill, has been promoted to Principal!
With over a decade of experience, Adam has a strategic and intelligent approach to his designs and has effectively led many projects to successful completion – all while raising his 4-year-old daughter, Payton, with his beautiful wife, Natalie.
Some of Adam’s most recent projects have been with the Town of San Anselmo, where he has cultivated successful working relationships, and in turn, a highly successful Low Impact Development Pilot project, Roadway Reconstruction projects, and Median Master Plan for the Town. Currently, he is working on the Hudson Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety project in Redwood City, the new 1800-stall parking structure at California State University, Sacramento, and the Mountain View Community Center. Adam’s experience takes him across Northern California, giving him a broad and well-rounded perspective.
Much like Siegfried, Adam’s skill set is multi-faceted: one day, Adam could be working on a sewer rehabilitation project and the next, a multi-use, synthetic turf sports complex. No matter what is put in front of him, he always rises to the challenge and exceeds expectations. From Adam’s design and project management capabilities, to his interactions with staff, clients, and other professionals in the industry, Siegfried felt it was an easy choice for the firm and for its future. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and opinions Adam will bring to the table!
This investment in Siegfried’s growth reflects our commitment to excellence and expertise in every area we practice – civil & structural engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, and athletic facility design – and to continuing a tradition of what our clients have come to rely on: Being the firm that delivers the most innovative and reliable solutions to create a better tomorrow.
