Robert Norbutas | Celebrating 20 Years with Siegfried
As we celebrate these milestones, we reflect on the impact they’ve made and the careers they’ve built with us.
Robert joined Siegfried as a Senior Design Engineer and project manager with a background in golf course architecture. Over time, he earned his license and went on to establish and grow a thriving Landscape Architecture Department from the ground up.
Throughout his career, Robert has contributed to some of Siegfried’s most pivotal projects. At the UCSC Amphitheater, his innovative bench installation design played a key role in restoring a historic venue to meet modern codes while preserving its unique character. More recently, he helped shape Evergreen Valley College, designing an iconic water feature that evolved from initial sketches to a final installation. That project also allowed him to set lasting campus-wide site and landscape standards that are still in use today.
When asked what continues to motivate him after 20 years, Robert shared:

“I have a passion for art and design, and Siegfried has allowed me to pursue both every day. I get to work on a wide range of projects in different locations, applying an ‘outside the box’ approach to create beautiful landscapes and compelling visual presentations. I also find great fulfillment in mentoring staff, collaborating across departments, and contributing to improvement projects. Coaching has been a major part of my life, and I’m grateful to continue that through professional mentorship.”
We are deeply grateful for Robert’s creativity, leadership, and the lasting contributions he has made to Siegfried’s legacy.
Tricia Navarro | Celebrating 10 Years with Siegfried
Tricia Navarro began her journey with Siegfried as a part-time front desk receptionist, which soon grew into a full-time role. After a few years, she left to pursue an opportunity as a wedding planner with her sister. But when a position opened in accounting and bookkeeping, she returned to Siegfried—a role that has since evolved into her current position as Billing and Contracts Manager.
In her role today, Tricia serves many of the same client relationships she first encountered as a receptionist, but from a different perspective. She ensures Siegfried’s services are clearly represented in contracts and accurately reflected in invoices. Reflecting on this progression, she describes it as “a full-circle experience that has deepened both my knowledge and appreciation of the work we do.”
When recalling her favorite memories, Tricia highlights the day Siegfried moved into its own building—a proud milestone that marked the company’s growth and success.
As for what continues to inspire her after 10 years, she shared:

“After 10 years, what continues to inspire me is the meaningful impact of our work, the constant opportunities to learn and grow, and our incredible team. No two days are ever the same, and being behind the scenes of projects that help shape communities is truly rewarding. I’m continually impressed by the creativity and brilliance of our engineers. I also take great pride in seeing how Siegfried has doubled in growth during my time here—it’s been an honor to be part of that journey.”
We are thankful for Tricia’s dedication and the vital role she has played in supporting Siegfried’s growth and excellence.
