As 2025 comes to a close, our team reflects on a milestone year—our 70th anniversary. As part of our anniversary campaign, we released a four-part series highlighting our history, our commitment to mentorship, milestone projects, and most importantly, our people.
We would not be where we are today without the legacy and the people who have shaped and molded our organization. From our founder, Robert Siegfried, who chose Stockton as his home to rebuild after the war, to presidents like Lex Corrales, who led us through economic downturns, and to our current president, Paul Schneider, who has grown our team from 40 employees to 70 in the last five years, each leader has contributed to building the foundation for our success.
Success Built on Relationships
At Siegfried, we know that our success isn’t just the result of technical expertise—it’s also because our team embodies one of our core values: valuing relationships. Without strong connections with our partners, clients, and stakeholders, our legacy would not be what it is today.
Clients like Fritz Grupe, who we partnered with in the 1960s and 70s on landmark projects such as Lincoln Village West, Quail Lakes, and Brookside, enabled us to take on larger, more complex work. Our work with healthcare clients brings resources to communities across Northern California, while partnerships with higher education and K–12 institutions invest in the next generation. Collaborations with public agencies, such as the City of Stockton’s Miracle Mile Safety project, ensure we provide the best possible outcomes for our community.
Every success is a reflection of our team members’ dedication to nurturing these relationships and delivering results with integrity and care.

Celebrating Our People and Milestones
As we celebrate our clients and partners, we also want to celebrate our team across all disciplines and departments. This year, we launched company-wide Town Halls to keep our teams connected as we expand across different offices, regions, and departments.
Our 70th anniversary also gave us the opportunity to showcase milestone projects and mentorship stories through our video series. From highlighting key engineering achievements to spotlighting mentorship across departments, these initiatives reflected both our technical expertise and the collaborative spirit that drives Siegfried forward.
Giving Back to Our Communities
Community engagement has always been part of our legacy. In 2025, our team contributed to philanthropic and educational initiatives that made a real difference in our communities. We proudly sponsored the American Heart Association, with employees raising funds to support heart disease and stroke research. Our team also supported local students and schools, including sponsoring a class to attend Stockton Ports School Day, supporting Lincoln High School’s STEM program, and partnering with CREATE to sponsor high school students competing in engineering and creative challenges.
These efforts underscore our belief that success isn’t measured solely by the projects we complete, but by the positive impact we have on the people and communities we serve.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on 70 years of growth, collaboration, and shared achievements, we are inspired by the future. The relationships we’ve built, the communities we’ve served, and the talented people who make up our team will continue to guide Siegfried in the years to come. Together, we will build on this legacy, innovate with purpose, and continue making a meaningful impact—for our clients, our communities, and each other.
