Siegfried provided civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture services for the UC Davis Health Folsom Medical Care Clinic, the $171 million first phase of the UC Davis Folsom Center for Health. The project transformed a 34.5-acre site into a regional outpatient healthcare destination anchored by a 114,000-square-foot medical facility. Designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, the new Folsom medical clinic consolidates services from three existing locations while expanding access to diagnostic imaging, infusion services, and specialty care.
Siegfried’s civil engineering team supported comprehensive site planning, grading, utility coordination, stormwater management, and access design to improve circulation, accessibility, and operational efficiency throughout the site. Land surveying services included boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys, providing essential site data to guide design and construction. Working closely with UC Davis Health and the design-build team, Siegfried coordinated site infrastructure to support the Folsom medical clinic while accommodating future expansion.
Landscape architecture services focused on creating a welcoming, patient-centered environment that integrates outdoor spaces with the surrounding healthcare facilities. The completed site features landscaped gathering areas, shaded walkways, pedestrian connections, and green spaces designed to encourage relaxation and accessibility. Together, these improvements have established a cohesive healthcare environment that enhances the patient and visitor experience while supporting UC Davis Health’s long-term vision for the Folsom Center for Health.
