To meet the aquatic activity needs of UC Davis students, the Department of Campus Recreation renovated the Recreation Pool with the aim to bring all department aquatic activities under one facility. This renovation included an increased number of lap lanes, a shallow entry, a diving well, and an updated restroom with an increased number of facilities and day lockers. The stormwater system was re-routed and utility service for sewer, gas, and water lines were upgraded. Fire sprinklers were added to the structures. Siegfried provided land surveying, landscape architecture, and civil and structural engineering services for this LEED Gold project.
