Siegfried provided civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture for the improvements of Sutter Parking Structure II at the Sutter Medical Center in Roseville, CA. The project involved the construction of a new parking structure in an existing parking lot.
The new parking structure increases parking capacity for the entire Sutter Medical Center. The greatest challenge of the project was grading the parking structure to accommodate a drive-in entrance on both the first and second floors of the parking structure which are accessed from the existing parking lot and Medical Plaza Drive, respectively. Our civil design team was able to recommend finished floor heights and grade the surrounding area to enable the parking structure to utilize these various entrances at the multiple elevations.
