Pixie Woods park, a Stockton staple, needed to replace aging playground equipment. Siegfried stepped in and donated landscape architecture, civil engineering, surveying, and structural engineering for the brand new Galaxy Quest play structure. Working closely with the City of Stockton and Pixie Woods board, Siegfried helped prepare the plans and designs for the new play structure, as well as doing the work for the fill material around the playground. Finally, to help preserve Galaxy Quest long-term, Siegfried designed a shade structure to cover the area. And while the structure is currently being installed and was poised to be ready in time for the Pixie Woods Wine Stroll, the big reveal was unfortunately delayed due to COVID-19. Once community spaces are safe to visit, the added value of a brand new attraction will bring new guests to enjoy Pixie Woods for years to come.
