Siegfried is providing civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture services for the development of Alchemist Public Market in Sacramento’s River District. Led by Alchemist Community Development Corporation (CDC), the project aims to create a vibrant community gathering space that supports local food entrepreneurs, small businesses, and economic opportunity.
Working closely with the architect and multidisciplinary design team, Siegfried is developing comprehensive site improvements that include grading, drainage, underground utilities, stormwater management, paving, irrigation, and planting design. The team is also supporting ADA-compliant pedestrian access and off-site roadway improvements to enhance accessibility, circulation, and connectivity. Land surveying services include detailed topographic mapping to establish existing site conditions and guide design coordination.
Additional services include erosion control planning, stormwater quality documentation, agency coordination, and construction support. Through collaboration across disciplines, Siegfried is helping bring Alchemist Public Market to life, creating a functional and welcoming space that supports community connection and long-term economic growth in Sacramento.
