Siegfried worked with the San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency (SJAFCA) on the design and permitting of a new flood control gate at Smith Canal. This project was in response to a change in the designation from FEMA listing the area as a Special Flood Hazard Area. Siegfried provided the civil engineering, surveying, and structural engineering in preparing the report, construction costs, and project alternatives.
