In September of 2020, we shared a rendering of the plans for Miner Avenue’s Complete Streets project. Today, we are sharing some progress photos of the project in motion! This project is a 10-block rehabilitation that spans from Center Street to the UPRR underpass. Improvements include lane reduction from four to two lanes and Class II bicycle lanes; the addition of median islands and a roundabout; traffic signal modifications at the signalized intersections; streetlights; as well as wider sidewalks with pedestrian and bicycle amenities. The roundabout will assist with traffic flow and add a beautiful landscape feature to Downtown Stockton. Keep an eye out for more progress photos down the road as the dreams for this project come to life!
