Senior Project Coordinator

Siegfried has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Coordinator, operating out of our Stockton office.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Coordinator is to work with the production related Department Managers and Project Managers to facilitate the needs of the company projects. The Senior Project Coordinator acts as a liaison between the project team and the project clients throughout the project lifecycle. This person is the gatekeeper for project standards, contracts, and other project related deliverables. The Senior Project Coordinator may also be responsible for aiding in tracking and assisting the department managers with their staffs professional development and their strategic initiatives under the guidance of the company President.

Individuals at this level are viewed as organizational leaders, highly dependable, and a resource to all. They are responsible for ensuring team success in all aspects of the project lifecycle. These individuals take steps to measure, enhance, innovate, and organize all aspects of the company project process.

Position Summary

In general, the responsibilities of this position consist but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Managing project documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the project life cycle
  • Control all documents related to projects and other company standards
  • Assisting project managers with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks
  • Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle, as well as managing milestone deliverables.
  • Manage the close out and follow through of lessoned learned on a project by project basis.
  • Aid in the development of staff and project managers by providing training related to project administration and company standards
  • Communicate with project clients to assess their needs and define project requirements, acceptance criteria and project timelines
  • Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what’s needed at the right time
  • Help project managers monitor project and provide updates to project stakeholders
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Highly organized to effectively manage multiple active projects, various deliverables, and workflows (both Client-facing, Internal, and Subconsultant).
  • Extremely effective in contract review, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and other aspects of the project life span.
  • Effectively establishes workflows across departments to improve efficiency
  • Provides new processes and updates to the project managers and staff.
  • Prepares and tracks permitting and/or entitlement packages and ensures language and applications accurately reflects project scope
  • Responds well under pressure and can be flexible to make sure deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate team information sharing and idea flow to ensure consistency and high-quality design product.
  • Act as gatekeeper for project, specs, standards, and production related documents
  • Develop and implement PM development process to include training and other tools to ensure successful progression for staff.
  • Demonstrates integrity, and establishes a relationship with peers, subordinates, and superiors.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field

8+ years of experience

OR

Has displayed all required skills with 10+ years of industry experience
