Last summer, Siegfried had the pleasure of having Georgia Bracchi as a landscape design intern. This year, she decided to come back! When asked what prompted her to return to Siegfried, she said, “I gained so much valuable information as an intern at Siegfried. Having been exposed to landscape architecture application in a professional practice setting, I built new skills that my classes at Poly wouldn’t have offered me. Siegfried has a very welcoming as well as professional setting, and since California’s reopening, I was looking forward to site visits and more work in the field. I think it’s very important to observe the connection between the design and actual implementation happening at the construction site to see the process unfold.”

She will be entering her 4th year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying landscape architecture this fall. Upon her return, we asked Georgia what she’d like to say about Siegfried, she said, “I appreciate the range of work that this internship offers me whether I’m taking pictures on a job site or picking plant species for a planting plan. Everyone is very friendly and approachable if I have any questions or concerns. I also appreciate the small office get-togethers around lunch on special occasions because I get to know my coworkers better.😊”

Thank you, Georgia for all of your hard work and we are so glad to have you back!
